Playoff Tiebreaker Rule (Denise D'Sa   Sep 13)

For playoff matches that end up tied in sets and games the following is the tiebreaker format:

Captains choose one women and one man to play a 10 point tiebreaker, win by two.

Players chosen must be from the ones on the rooster playing the match that ends tied.

We had some great weather on Saturday for a BBQ.

Thanks to Canyon Plumbing for the use of their barbeque and to Neil for bringing it.

Many thanks to Sanaa and Sharon for shopping for all the supplies.

Thanks to all clubs who pitched in and to Jeff from Rosedale for hosting.

Team Captains meeting (Brian Ridout   May 8)

Tuesday May 13th, 6:30pm at CTC. Pizza and a drink provided.

Please bring $150.00 registration fee per Team and supply any blackout dates for home games that we can try to accomadate in the scheduling.

Season starts week of May 27th.

Format change to 5.0 (Brian Ridout   Apr 11)

As agreed upon last night by a margin of 8-1 of club reps, we will be adopting a new format for the upcoming 2014 interclub season. The 5.0 division will now be a 4.5 plus division that will not include Pro's or Juniors. The sets will revert back to the standard 8 sets played in the other 2 divisions. Two mens singles, two ladies singles, one mens doubles, one ladies doubles and two mixed doubles.

Our intent is to strenthen our overall 24 current teams across all 3 divisions and encourage more even competition in all divisions.

We hope to be able to field more than the current 4 teams in the top division, now 4.5 plus. We are encouraging all clubs to attempt to place members at the appropriate level of play.
